What comes to mind when you hear the word PASSION?
An extreme emotion?
Devotion to someone?
A strong, extravagant love?
Pretty good definitions, but there is one missing. The last week of Jesus' life on earth is be known as the week of His Passion. The week began with His entrance into Jerusalem and ended with His resurrection. This term describes the depth of Christ's great sacrifice and love for humanity. This is why Christ endured the torture, shame, and punishment throughout that week.
